Congratulations and welcome to the newest members of Flinders’ Medicine! We are so excited for you to join us on this journey. This survival guide intends to give you almost everything you need to know to make your transition into Medicine at Flinders University as smooth as possible, and introduces you to all the incredible opportunities FMSS and our special interest groups have to offer.

Remember, this guide is student constructed, and there may be some changes to the information provided once the year starts. More information will be available on FLO and provided by the College of Public Health and Medicine. We are incredibly lucky to have such passionate, committed academics at the helm of our medical family, so do not be afraid to ask them (or us!) any questions you may have as you find your feet in first year.

 
 

FMSS acknowledge the land that we meet and study on as being the traditional lands of the Kaurna (SA) and Larrakia (NT) people since time immemorial and that they never ceded sovereignty. We pay our respects to past, present and emerging Kaurna and Larrakia elders and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people today.
