The Flinders Medical Students Society was established in 1979 and is a non-profit student run organisation. We provide many opportunities for our members to develop professionally, network and connect with staff and students.  Be sure to check this website on a regular basis for up-coming events and resources that will help you while you are at Flinders Medical School.

President's Welcome

On behalf of Flinders Medical Student Society (FMSS), welcome to the Graduate Entry Medical Course at Flinders University.

FMSS is the peak representative body for medical students studying at Flinders. We have a strong sense of social justice and equity in health and will provide you with many opportunities throughout the year to get involved in community, academic and social activities.

This website will provide you with information on upcoming events and current issues in health. You also have the opportunity to give us feedback.

Being a medical student offers you the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more. So get involved, make the most of the opportunities that present and work with the student body to advocate for the health and welfare of others.

I look forward to meeting you.

Kind Regards

Julia McClelland
